House music emerged from the queer black and latinx club cultures of New York and Chicago in the ’80s. Many of the club classics and house anthems which made electronic music popular, came from gay culture.

This friday showcases LGBT scene DJ's in one of Amsterdams gay venues, Cafe the Queen's Head.

DJ's Bo Monde and Gian Battista will spin the records on this event in the Amsterdam red light district.

Expect a mix of house classics, classic house and 80's and 90's remakes.
