Labels, Streaming & Publishing - Charlotte Spillerova (Marketing Manager, Believe, CZ), Chris Goss (Musical Director, Hospital Records, GB), Penny Longstaff (Product Manager, Anjunabeats, GB), Moderator: Paul Pacifico (CEO, AIM, GB)

In the ‘old world’ you had go get a deal to even get started in the music business and this always gave the big players the upper hand. These days, getting started is relatively easy with home studios and open access to distribution platforms. The difficult bit is growing to scale – how do you plan for and cope with growth in the digital age? Often it feels like the only way to access capital is to sell out, but is this really the case? Is it possible to bootstrap your way to the top and what strategies are independent dance music companies actually using to develop successfully?
