Wouter Jaspers ()
After years touring as an independent artist on the electronic experimental music scene, recording with musical groups, collaborating, and performing under multiple aliases, Wouter Jaspers co-founded the Berlin synthesiser manufacturer KOMA Elektronik in 2011 together with artist and engineer Christian Zollner. Dedicated to hardware and the tradition of modular synthesis, KOMA Elektronik creates machines that connect modern design and versatility with the spirit of analog circuitry. In his day-to-day work for KOMA and his own artistic career, Jaspers likes to operate in a no-nonsense fashion; focusing on innovation, community building and independent music making. Together with his colleagues and longterm musical partners, Jaspers runs the AMOK Tapes and Vatican Analog music labels.
