Monthly hosting The Something Something on Red Light Radio, Will Oirson helped creating a platform for quality electronica and ambient from around the world. The Dutch-based artist always seemed to take the outside roads, which helped him develop his work as a radio host, DJ and producer- this being quite the reason he is been playing music for so many years now. His mixture of lush electronics and his huge smile complements the music scenes of dance music crusaders as well as spirits in search for mellow moods. Invited to festivals and nightlife like Together Boston, STRP and the former club Trouw, Will has a predilection for spots that are open-minded for new sounds and thoughts. This explains why his latest remix - containing both broken beats as chopped and spiritual synthworks – was premiered by XLR8R, and for instance Monkeytown Records invited him for ADE. Will has always been respected for his unique and alternative take on music and this is probably what makes him one of the most enduring artists around.
