Wes Broersen (NL)

Wes Broersen is a creative technologist, who graduated in 2021 from the University of the Arts Utrecht. In his studies he specialised himself in the field of Sonic Interaction Design. Wes focuses on forming space through light and sound. With the help of technology, non-physical design forms the space and creates fluidity in otherwise rigid structures.

Wes uses human perception and expectation in his designs, always using sound as a starting point for his explorations. By closely merging the two media’s, light and sound, he aims to create new-media works that resembles how we naturally feel and experience the world around us.Wes is active in multiple disciplines, like: Theater, Opera, Dance, Performance Art and Installation based work.
