WERC (NL)

WERC is a visual collective from Groningen and its collective brain consists of Joachim Rumke, Olav Huizer, Jelle Valk and their manager Joachim de Vries. With their wide range of interests and each of them having unique qualities they make a very effective team. It is because of their seemingly different personalities that they make this collective a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. There is one thing the men of WERC do have in common though, the urge to explore new things and the conviction to do what they want. Although they started out as just ‘fooling around’, they now have some major projects to their name. Noorderzon, V2_ and Fiber Festival are just a few of the many organisations WERC has been working with. This well-oiled machine is rumbling onwards, enthusiastically looking for new endeavours and new challenges.
