Wekingz (HR)

Wekingz is a Croatian DJ and producer, comes from Sinj, and has been actively involved in DJing since 2010.


Through his DJ career, he performed in many current clubs and events throughout Croatia that promote electronic music, but also in Europe (Switzerland, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Russia, Czech Republic). Some of the clubs in which he performed are certainly worth mentioning - Central club (Split), Culture club Revelin (Dubrovnik), En Vouge (Šibenik), Opera club (Zagreb), Ritual club (Warshaw), Lordi's Club (Lodz), Port club (Klapeida) Shine club (Krakow), Golden Cut club (Hamburg) Fashion club (Prague), Gallery club (Zagreb) Byblos club (Poreč) Aurora (Primošten), Hula Hula beach club (Hvar), Las Vegas, Istanbul and many others.


Through numerous performances, he gained experience and opportunities to share the DJ desk with world-famous electronic music names such as Roger Sanchez, Claptone, Paul van Dyk, Mahmut Orhan, Jax Jones, Freemasons, Nicola Fasano, Niki Belluci, Victoria Metzker, Norman Doray, Joe Stone, Julian Jordan, etc.


Wekingz made its first production steps in 2019 with the release of his first official single Khief, followed by Keep It Comin', Like I Used To Be, We Know The Night and the most successful Keep On to date, released on the renowned house label Glasgow Underground. In addition to Glasgow, some of the labels with which he releases music are Mood Funk Records, Stereophonic, Space Disco and Forward Thinking. Throughout the production he has collaborated with the names 5prite, Deftone, Makito, Glen Horsborough, SJ Johnson and others, and the sound that characterizes him is groovy, inspired by disco, which is not surprising considering the fact that Wekingz is a big fan of Gliterbox and Defected editions through the years.


As a DJ, he is energetic, focuses on the dance floor and tries to justify the status of an experienced connoisseur of house music, whose sets regularly make the audience dance and remain in the memory.
