Tjitske Mussche (NL)
Tjitske Mussche is the initiator and artistic director of Oorzaken Festival, where audio stories, music and theater come together. She is also a maker of documentaries for radio, podcast and television, mostly on subjects that lie at the interface of art, history, literature and innovation. She often collaborates with musicians for her podcast series. The series Ongesigneerd (VPRO) and Gedwongen (Aldus'/ Comité 4&5 mei, music: Darius Timmer) were nominated for the Dutch Directors Guild directing prize. The series Van Gogh, de Brieven (Van Gogh Museum, music: Tuur Florizoone) won the Dutch Podcast Award 2019. She is currently working on a documentary podcast series about a 17th century shipwreck near the island Texel: De Jurk en het Scheepswrak (NTR, 2023, music: Roald van Oosten).
