Stefan Raupach (CA)

Stefan began in the music industry through the music production world. Drawing influence from hip-hop, warm synths and funk guitar, he began making beats in 2015 after breaking his foot while travelling in Indonesia. This eventually led him to attend Nimbus School Of Recording & Media for audio engineering/production. He currently creates music under the moniker ‘mr. stee’ and collaborates with a number of up and coming Vancouver vocalists.

In 2017 he joined the District's Content & Licensing team as Content Coordinator, and in 2019 added Label Marketing to his role. One of Stefan's main goals is to encourage cross promotion between curators in the District releasing music on their own labels. Understanding music from the production side allows him to have unique insight on the nuanced curation perspectives of the District channels and labels.
