Polo Molina (US)

Speaker
Polo's tenacity for business began before most, demonstrating a clear understanding and love for the family business at age 7. In high school Molina produced profitable house parties and when an intuitive sense told him this could lead to a career, he listened. Molina flourished in the 90's by teaming up with local radio legends, The Baka Boys, to create Cali Kings Marketing Group, one of the countries premier music marketing firms. Working with clients such as Interscope, Coke, Universal, Sony, Pepsi, Capitol Records and Warrner Music, Polo became widely known in the music industry for his thorough execution and hard work. With momentum came more inspiration and during the late 90s, Polo played a key role in bringing together his longtime childhood friends Taboo,will.i.am and Apl.de.ap who went on to form what was to become the global phenomenon: The Black Eyed Peas. With the creation of the Peas came the formation of Grassroots Music, a 360 music company that includes artist management, music publishing, a record label and a live event production arm which is responsible for some of the largest festivals of today. Under management Polo works with talent that includes The Black Eyed Peas, will.i.am, Afrojack, Tyga, Snow Tha Product, and more. Though music will always be Molina's first love in business he is involved in other worlds. In technology, for example, Polo advises startups and young tech talent as well as invests through SV ANGEL and now has an investment portfolio that includes Facebook, Pinterest & AirBnB. Philanthropy is very much a part of Molina's profile through the i.am.angel foundation, which is dedicated to the progress of young minds living in low income sections of Los Angeles.
