Nadine applies systems thinking and her scientific background to solve and communicate sustainability challenges. She has led Material Flow Analyses on various scales, such as for Schiphol Airport, the Dutch Wadden Island of Vlieland, and for DGTL Festival. As an urban ecologist, she holds a particular interest in evidence- and nature-based solutions to further enhance circularity and resilience in cities. Ultimately, she believes we need to bring nature back into our urban ecosystems to allow both people and the planet to flourish. Nadine was born in the Netherlands and raised in Canada. Her global mindset and ease in communicating across cultures, have led her to work on sustainability projects spanning five continents.
