Menno Conner completed his didactics studies at the University of Groningen. After this he worked at a private university of applied sciences as a member of staff on the continued development of three bachelor programmes. In 2005 he became an Education Advisor at the Hanze University Groningen. In this capacity he worked for various teaching courses. From 2009 to 2013 he was Education Account Manager at Academy Minerva. Here he worked at the development of the curriculum, setting up new master programmes, giving education trainings and the development of research strands in the art education programme. He became programme manager of the Research Centre Art & Society in November 2013. The Research Centre Art & Society of Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen conducts practice-based research into the exchange between art and society and, as a consequence, the ever changing professional practice of artists, musicians and art teachers. The outcomes of this research flow back to both the professional practice and professional art training courses
