MC PPholl (NL)

Born in Amsterdam, MC PPHOLL has been dedicated to and involved in housemusic since 1987 and has been hosting and mc-ing at parties and festivals since 1997.
His musical background of reggae & dub you can still hear back in the minimal, dubby type of mc he has become over the years.
No ego-tripping, useless shouting, sit downs or crowd hyping, but musical lyrical additions & support to the dj, that is what PPHOLL contributes to the line-up. Less is more.

MC PPHOLL is well known for his Amsterdam residencies at Chemistry @ Escape , Time Machine @ Melkweg and Earth @ Paradiso, but he performed in almost every club nation wide as well as abroad in countries such as Mexico, Russia, Ukraine, Scotland, England, Belgium, Germany, Finland, Spain and France.

Over the years he has been hosting (main)stages at leading festivals such as Tomorrowland, A Day At The Park, Awakenings, Mysteryland, Lowlands, Dancevalley, Extrema Outdoor, I Love Techno and Loveparade.
As a result he has shared the stage with the majority of dutch and international top dj's in various styles of house music.
The list is endless but to name just a few: John Digweed, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Josh Wink, Joris Voorn, Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Groove Armada, Amelie Lens, Seth Troxler, Ricardo Villalobos, Tiesto, David Guetta, Paco Osuna, Dubfire, Jamie Jones, Dimitri, Remy and many more.

Since 2019 he is also co-founder of Kadinsky Sessions, a monthly event for lovers of progressive & deep melodic housemusic in the city-centre of Amsterdam. Together with his partners in crime Around Us, Francesco Pico, Ras Paulus, VJ Gabriel and Vincent Reuser they have created a well respected hangout and meetingpoint for the progressive scene, featuring the finest national and international progressive oriented artists.
