Maarten Leopold (NL)

Maarten Leopold (1966) is music attorney, based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. His firm (Leopold Meijnen Oosterbaan) represents many highprofile clients in the electronic music industry. His clients include DJ’s, artists, writers and producers as well as managers, record labels, publishers and event promoters. Maarten has been a legal expert in the dance industry since 1995. Today, Maarten’s practice is more and more internationally oriented as he represents many international clients in The Netherlands and abroad. Maarten is an involved member of Afem and active as the co-chair of the ‘CMO Relations Working Group’. This group aims at getting better results for all rightsholders of electronic music to get paid when their music is played at events and festivals.
