Loic Le Joliff (FR)
Born in France in 1986, Loïc possessed a keen interest in music during his youth, particular Jamaican and dub. He moved to Canada to study and acquired a BAA in Marketing at the HEC Montreal Business School. Following this, he stayed in French-Canada working in advertising and his love affair with electronic music began. It was at the time that he starting DJing and entered into his career as a promoter. In 2011 he moved to Barcelona, where he launched his first electronic music events with his current business partner François Jozic. Together they created Brunch-In The Park, a new event concept that brought youth and families together in an open-air location on Sundays throughout summer. Since humble beginnings, Brunch -In has grown to be the largest event series in Barcelona with a weekly attendance in excess of 9000, booking some of the most important names in electronic music such as Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, and Motor City Drum Ensemble. Today, in addition to Barcelona, Brunch -In hosts seasons in Madrid, Lisbon, and has hosted oneoff events and series in other locations in Spain and Latin America, such as Valencia, Fuengirola, Lima, and Santiago de Chile among others. Aside from Brunch -In, Loïc has also embarked on addition projects, such as Hivernacle Pop-Up Club (Barcelona, 2016 - Current), and OFFSónar (Barcelona, 2018 - Current) in partnership with Advanced Music (Sónar); both with the the premiere venue of the city, Poble Espanyol. Promoting aside, Loïc is building momentum with regular bookings at events across Southern Europe under his DJ alias, Lee Jo Life, and hosts his party series ‘Movida’ in some of the key venues of Barcelona, such as Moog and Macarena Club. Together, Loïc's commitment to presenting the most relevant electronic music from today to audiences numbering 300.000 in 2019 across projects place him as an important member of the music industry.
