Claire O’Neill (GB)

Co Founder of A Greener Festival (AGF), Show Manager & Aerialist for Arcadia Spectacular, and Event Producer and Programmer of Green Events & Innovations Conference (GEI). Internationally consulted in the field of event sustainability, in 2006 Claire produced a pioneering research project into festivals and the environment, which led to the formation of AGF. The organisation has since assessed over 450 events worldwide on their environmental management through The Greener Festival Award (including Glastonbury, Bonnaroo and Roskilde), trained over 90 assessors and sustainability managers, and founded the annual Green Events & Innovations Conference, selling out it’s 10th year in London, March 2018, with the International Live Music Conference (ILMC). Claire also leads AGF consultancy, for organisations such as the Royal Horticultural Society. At Arcadia Spectacular Claire is part of the core creative team, develops event partnerships, and is show manager and aerialist on touring productions including the incredible “Metamorphosis” show as seen at Glastonbury Festival for crowds up to 50,000. Tours reach shores across US, Europe, Asia and Australasia. Additionally, Claire leads on sustainability for both Arcadia touring and in-house festival production, and is on the Board of Directors for Arcadia Reach CIC. Claire formerly worked for London record labels in New Media and Licensing, and as General Manager of the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF), plus with festivals and events in management roles over the last 15 years, including Global Gathering and Bestival.
