Linda Vermaat (NL)
Linda is a passionate advocate for social innovation, driven by the inspiring stories of individuals who challenge the status quo. She founded initiatives such as the Slow Food Youth Network, Professional Rebel, and video production company TwentieFour.
For the past five years, Linda has led Innofest, transforming it from a freelancer-run EU project into a national NGO with a team of ten. At Innofest, she pioneered the use of festivals as living labs, giving entrepreneurs the chance to test sustainable and social innovations in real-life settings. From circular building materials to smart water solutions, these festival experiments help accelerate the transition to a fair and sustainable future.
With two decades of experience in moderation, Linda combines sharp insights with a gentle approach. Her contagious enthusiasm, curiosity, and wit make her a powerful discussion leader who inspires collaboration and fresh thinking.
