Lee Wilson (US)

Artist
If it’s catchy Pop music that you want -Lee has it. If it’s charming stage presence that you want-Lee has that too! Lee Wilson is the hardest working independent international recording artist in the Pop music genre. He has independently released four albums of which several songs have been licensed to major TV networks and performed live on 106 & Park, Fox 25 News, and VIBE Magazine. Lee Wilson is a premier Lifestyle Artist, incorporating his fan-base from his weekly attended, “Mango’s Latin Salsa Night” held weekly in Boston that caters to a sophisticated crowd of early 20’s to late 30’s music lovers. This American born Singer & Songwriter has had tremendous independent success from opening for John Legend and Fantasia, performing annually performing annually in Puerto Rico, to his early soulful R&B days of writing and recording music with Ryan Leslie. In 2006 Lee was named and featured in VIBE Magazine’s as VIBE Magazine’s #1 Free Agent. After not securing a record deal Lee decided to relocate to Puerto Rico where he spent many summers as a teenager. “I moved to Puerto to escape the hustle of trying to survive as an artist, I was beat down. I was jaded but never stopped writing music”. Little did Wilson know that moving to Puerto Rico and living there for two years would prove to be one of his best decisions of his career. “While I was in Puerto Rico I was able to experiment with new sounds, and collaborate with new artist.” The result led to the Reggaeton flavored “Can I Get Your Number”. “Can I Get Your Number” was featured on MTV Real World Brooklyn, The E Network’s Kim & Kourtney Take Miami” and topped the Music Choice-Musica Urbana. Wilson relocated back to east coast in 2010 and since has been creating a new sound that fuses Pop, Latin and R&B. “When I opened for Fantasia and John [Legend] I knew I had a wider market. I knew I could reach a more diverse audience. I wasn’t just an R&B Artist.” The now self-described genreless bilingual singer and songwriter is taking the Pop and Latin music scene by storm with his recently released international single “FIGHT FOR LOVE” featuring top rappers from Boston and San Juan, Puerto Rico. (Termanology and Lito MC Cassisy of Lito & Polaco Fame). With nearly 20,000 collective downloads of “Fight For Love”, a crowd-rockin’ performance with singing duo Karmin, and a host of features have led Wilson into the studio to began production on his much anticipated EP (yet to be title titled) being released Spring 2014. All of this with several music licensing opportunities in the works-. It’s safe to say that Lee Wilson is a movement all his own. When asked about his commercial return to the music industry Wilson’s response is, “I was built for this”.
