Kwame Kwaten is Managing Director of Ferocious Talent, an artist services company offering management, label services, and consultancy. He co-manages acts with Ben Bushell, Amie Dibba, and Shauna Thacker. Current roster: Blue Lab Beats, Izzy Withers, Ines Rae, Hyphen, Maya Lane, Mollyxo, The Halfway Kid, Brave James/JRose Jazz, Shala, Tournier, RP9, J-ArJ, Paul Schulze, and Grammy-winning engineer Rob Chiarelli.

Former Vice Chair of the Music Managers Forum, ex-Co-Chair of the BRITs Diversity Committee, and Trustee for both The BRIT Trust and MOBO Trust, Kwame is also Head of A&R at Point Blank Records. He co-founded Cre8ing Vision (2010) with Andrea Euell and Nicki Charles and founded the Urban Music Seminar (1997). Cre8ing Vision’s The Ultimate Seminar bridges the gap between the classroom and boardroom.

Kwame’s career began with D-Influence, working with Jay-Z, Shola Ama, Seal, Tom Jones, Mick Jagger, Ultra Naté, and Ladysmith Black Mambazo, selling over 10M records. Highlights include producing Shola Ama’s UK No.1 You Might Need Somebody and discovering her at 15.

He has managed Laura Mvula (2 MOBOs, Ivor Novello, Brit & Mercury noms), Rumer (Atlantic; Brit-nominated; 1M units sold), and Hak Baker (debut album No.1 Official Independent Album Breakers chart). He helped Blue Lab Beats earn a Grammy certificate and global acclaim, and launched Hakeem! The Film (IMAX London, 2024 sell-out).

A passionate advocate for inclusion and education, Kwame has delivered a TED Talk, spoken at major institutions, and addressed the House of Commons DCMS Select Committee on industry issues.
