Jed has been at various points in his life, a minister, an Optician, a lecturer, an event organiser, and an LGBTQ+ rights activist.
Since 2015 he has been the Festival Director of the Dublin LGBTQ+ Pride Parade and Festival, one of the largest events in Ireland. He is also a facilitator for a diversity and inclusion training programme called Pride at Work and regularly speaks on issues of intersectional social justice and the history of homophobia and transphobia and its connection to global crises.
He is married and lives in Dublin city centre.
