Jasper Goossen (NL)

Jasper Goossen is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with over 20 years of experiencein the international event, leisure, and nightlife industries. As CEO of Showpower, he isresponsible for the company’s overall strategy, daily operations, financial performance, andinvestment decisions.

With his creative ideas and entrepreneurial experience he is building the company from thestart-up it is now to an established brand in the event energy industry.

Throughout his career, Jasper has built and scaled multiple successful ventures. He is thefounder and former CEO of Apenkooi Events, an internationally recognized event companyknown for organizing large-scale electronic music events worldwide. In addition, he foundedPlayground, a brand activation agency focused on the event industry, and has co-foundedand invested in several leading Dutch leisure concepts, including De Marktkantine, Duke of Tokyo, NXT Museum, and various restaurant ventures.

Jasper is also the founder of the Revolution Foundation, which focuses on developing andpromoting sustainable solutions for the event industry. His broad expertise spans events,leisure, sustainability, marketing, and nightlife, and he has successfully guided multiplecompanies through early stage growth phases and eventual exits to private equity.

Beyond his executive roles, Jasper is actively involved in industry advocacy and governance.He served on the Board of Directors of the Night Mayor of Amsterdam, and was Chairman ofboth the Amsterdam Event Foundation (EVA) and the Unmute Us Foundation, guiding theevent industry out of the COVID restrictions.

His core expertise includes entrepreneurship, strategic development, corporate governance,capital raising, and international expansion—making him a driving force behind innovationand growth within the global event industry.
