Hausewerks (GB)

A childhood of spending your lunch money on jungle records, reading your older brothers Eternity magazine and amassing rave-tapes does a lot to a person. Underground music culture becomes a part of their DNA and no matter how hard the 'real world' tells you to do something sensible, it just doesn't resonate. This is the story of Hauswerks. Whilst his preferred tempos may have slowed down over the years, his obsession with grooves is more prominent than ever. Having made the decision to work in music whilst still packing a P.E kit, Hauswerks has notched-up well over a decade of studio experience, engineering for globally recognised names such as Steve Lawler, Doorly and Mark Knight to name but a few. This past couple of years has seen Hauswerks deliver a volley of releases on the ever rising UK based label Moda Black, cementing himself as one of their core artists. His latest EP for them titled 'Hauswerks - Listen to Me EP' gained support from a wide rage of artists including new school acts like Disclosure to legends of the scene like Todd Terry, Pete Tong, Steve Lawler and everyone in-between, proving the wide spectrum appeal that Hauswerks has built up over the years. It's this success that has earned him a place behind the decks at some of the best clubs around performing with artists at the top of their game like Hot Since 82, Seth Troxler, Route 94 and so on….Moving forward and into 2015, Hauswerks release schedule is starting to look like a who's who of the industries top labels and artists with releases due on/with, ViVa Music Ltd, Moda Black, Groove Armada, Secondcity and Doorly to reel a few off. With that calibre of support and the product he provides both in the studio and up on stage, 'onwards and upwards' is the only way we see Hauswerks heading in 2015! Make no mistake, Hauswerks music hits you right below the waist. Unforeseen fills, off-kilter samples and warping vocals effortlessly flow from his insanely infectious grooves - creating throbbing terrace bombs that speak a language all of their own, a language that is rapidly spreading throughout the scene and grabbing the attention of clubbers, promoters and label owners alike.
