Gianni Don Carlo (BE)

Gianni Don Carlo was born in Brasschaat, Belgium on the 21st of September 1998. When he was 3 years old he moved with his family to Spain and spent his childhood there. Gianni Don Carlo went to an English International School till he was 11 years old. Then studied at the Koninklijk Atheneum in Brasschaat and finished his High school in the Netherlands. There were always two passions in the life of the young man; music and racing. Gianni Don Carlo started from a young age with karting and soon he became part of the Dutch National Championship, where he reached the highest level in karting KZ-2 (shifter 125cc) and raced in Holland, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Spain. Meanwhile Gianni also worked on his music career. As from the age of 14 he already played several sets in Italy Belgium, Spain and The Netherlands. At the age of 15 Gianni Don Carlo went to the Pioneer DJ school in Amsterdam, after that he also took producing lessons at Pyntago in the ID & T building with success. Soon he started his radio show ‘Art of Rhythm’ which was broadcasted on Beachgrooves Radio in Spain, then he met former Slam FM radio DJ Eric van Kleef who discovered Gianni Don Carlo’s Talent. While he was managed by Eric van Kleef he created several tracks and learned a lot. In 2016 Gianni Don Carlo performed at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), and in 2017 Gianni Don Carlo’s radio show was also broadcasted on Radio Decibel. Gianni Don Carlo’s decision was made; he stopped racing to spend all of his time on music. Eric van Kleef approached CEO Peter Gelderblom from the Temazo Music Group and introduced Gianni Don Carlo. Peter Gelderblom was very interested in the young man, they made a plan for the future and a management contract was signed. Six months went by of hard work and long studio hours…a new huge track was born called ‘Every Time I See You’. ‘’It was so much fun working with RAiK (The singer of ‘’Every Time I See You’’) There was so much energy and excitement going on while this track was in the making’’. Since July the 13th Gianni Don Carlo signed an exclusive contract with worlds largest Dance label, Spinnin’ Records
