George Commijs (NL)

George Commijs, also known as Glimmerman, is the label manager and curator at Purple Desert Records, founded by his longtime friend and creative peer Kasper Kerpel (Impello). Based in Rotterdam, his connection with electronic music began in the late eighties and early nineties when the house and hardcore scenes started shaping the city’s underground culture. That early fascination with darker, more atmospheric sounds evolved from raw house to hardcore and eventually into techno.
