22D strives for outstanding technical and creative quality using a growing network of international music professionals.
22D manages projects creatively, financially and logistically from inception to delivery, fitting seamlessly into the production chain, for films such as « Triplettes of Belleville », « Ernest & Célestine »…
Emmanuel is originally from Paris, where he worked at Sacem the french PRO’s, Palan Music Publishing and State One Music, , before creating 22D Music in 2006.
The founders were friends for years before deciding to set up their own publishing group. This was in order to avoid the never ending merges and acquisitions between majors in the music industry, the selling and re-selling of music catalogs implying complex administrative transfers that result in equally complicated, incomplete or incorrect registrations of works that lead to loss of royalties.
