This House pioneer. started playing P-Funk/ Rare groove in '87 as “dj dr Funkenstein” in club RoXY in Amsterdam.

After a trip in mid ’88 to New York and Chicago (to check out the roots of House and meeting Frankie Knuckles, Jessie Jones and many other pioneers from the scene) he started his weekly House night in Oct 1988 at the “Paard van Troje”.

In 1989 he also became the Saturday night resident dj at Club La Ds and started playing national and international clubs like:Nighttown, RoXy, Stalker, Peron 66, Exposure, De Waakzaamheid, Club Anvers (Belgium), Otto Zutz (Barcelona),King of House (Madrid) etc. and at legal and illegal House parties all over Europe like Mystery Land, Silly Symphonies etc.

Music Producer

He produced 12”records for labels Secret Love Records and After Midnight Records (for which he also designed the labels) under the names A Different League, Amtrack and Super Glide. From (‘96 to ’99) he worked on the “Raiders of the lost Bass” D&B album “The Heirloom” for Uk Vibez label. After a 20 year sabbatical he returned to House after hearing Black Coffee play at ADE 2014. Started djing at PIP and ADE 2015 again and producing House tracks which resulted in a release on Dj Pierre's Acid 88 compilation and collaborations with House pioneers Jesse saunders, Sterling Void, Chip E and Ashley Beedle in 2020.
