DJ ABENA (BE)

We are so proud to announce the dj who will take us deep into the night during our ADE special: DJ ABENA! Growing up in a musical family, DJ ABENA fell in love with African music, Dancehall and Hip hop instantly. Her passion for music only grew and it was obvious that she would start a Dj career. Since 2016, She makes people dance and enjoy the best Afrobeats, Dancehall and Hip Hop tunes. In 2019, her career has gone international with being booked for an European tour in the next countries: Germany, France, Netherlands & Switzerland. Dj Abena has been playing in different clubs and festivals in Belgium. She is known for her energetic sets in Belgian clubs : Carré, La Gare, Ikon, Dyoukes, Roxy, La Rocca, Gatsby. She also played at Belgian festivals such as Afro- Latino, Afrika-Film, Bomboclat, Docklands, Grinta, Jamaican Jerk, Laundry Day, Radiostad, Sfinks and Ubuntu. Dj Abena's booking frequency is every weekend. She was currently nominated as one of the best Female Dj's in Belgium.
