UK House talent, DJ, producer and party man extraordinaire Danny Rampling was one of the first Superstar DJs and remains a true pioneer and visionary of the global dance scene. Through his legendary Acid House club Shoom in the 1980s and his Radio shows with BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM, Danny became a catalyst that helped to shape the UK dance scene right from the early days. He essentially paved the way for the likes of David Guetta to be who they are today. Danny Rampling has sold over a million compilation albums, has been presented with an array of Gold Discs and is also regularly featured on TV documentaries for National Geographic, BBC, MTV, and The Gadget Show for his music knowledge and expertise. He has become a household name in the UK and was the mastermind behind adopting the Smiley Face logo to represent the acid house and rave movement, which has become one of the most recognisable emblems of dance culture.

Danny was the first British DJ to play at the Miami Winter Conference, and was one of the first DJs to play in South Africa. With past Ibiza Residencies in Pacha, Amnesia, and Privilege, he has helped shape the scene on the island and in the UK as we know it over the years. Nowadays, Danny remains at the forefront of the music industry with his International DJ tours. He is author of the best selling book '' Everything You Need To Know About DJing & Success'', has a Music Consultancy business providing soundtracks for film and fashion shows and releases compilations under the name Rampling Digital through Mastermix. His American wife, Ilona Rampling, is also a long standing DJ and producer, and they regularly perform together under their joint name Mr + Mrs Rampling, playing for A list events like Formula 1 and star studded private parties. Voted number 1 DJ by DJ Magazine in their first ever Top 100 poll, Danny has since picked up countless awards for his work in the dance world and was nominated for a ’’Best of British Outstanding Contribution Award'' in 2012, proving that his contribution to the scene has been unrivalled since day one.
