Born and now based in London, he formally trained as a newspaper journalist and has been writing about music for more than a decade. Having cut his teeth at The House Dan Built, Dan made prominent footsteps alongside European house blog Beat My Day and as a freelance news writer for Beatport News. He now writes permanently for influential North American dance music website Dancing Astronaut. To date, Dan has conducted more than 400 artist interviews and has reported on music and industry culture across the globe. Dan recently embarked on his first radio podcast and holds consultancy positions for a host of the dance music industry’s leading independent and major record labels.
