Charlotte Janssen (NL)

Charlotte Janssen practically came out of the womb singing as it has always been her passion. Even as a child, she was always able to find the spotlight. As she came in contact with a wide range of genres, she truly found her voice in opera.

She attended the conservatory and later the Dutch National Opera Academy in Amsterdam. Here, she graduated with high distinction.

After graduating, Charlotte was hired by one of the only professional choirs in Holland, “Het Groot Omroepkoor”, with whom she performs all over the world. Additionally, she is a soloist in song recitals, oratorio and opera in beautiful locations, such as the Concertgebouw.

Her favorite classical pieces are written by Britten, Mahler and Verdi.

During the shows of Peacock in Concert, she shows her love for all genres and styles of singing. And everybody knows… it ain’t over until the fat lady sings!
