Anthony Thissen (37 years old, born and raised in Amsterdam) founded Bravoure together with Jochem Boon in 2008. Anthony is the Executive Strategy Director of the agency and an entrepreneur at heart. With a background in business and art/design, Anthony has been realizing the goals and ambitions of clients in the cultural and events sector for fourteen years. He is specialized in brand positioning, the conduction of brand and online strategies as well as their execution. In this line of work data becomes more and more important every day. But the collection of data is a sensitive, ethical issue. In a cookie-less era, it is becoming increasingly important to collect first-hand data. A close look at the industry and end user is of utmost importance. With Bravoure, he is now a leading partner for brands from all kinds of industries, but still deeply rooted in the event and cultural industry with clients like Awakenings, Paradiso, Best Kept Secret, Eye Filmmuseum and Moco Museum. Bravoure has been a digital partner of ADE for ten years now.
Anthony’s first activities 15 years ago with Bravoure consisted of building websites for festivals like Awakenings and Dekmantel. The proof of competence: ensuring that large groups of visitors are enticed and at the same time building brands for a young, critical target group.
