Annabel Heijen ()

Annabel Heijen has been leading the Marketing, Communication & PR department at music rights organization BumaStemra since 2020. Within the organization, she is also responsible for Rise Up, a program dedicated to supporting women in the music industry. In addition, Annabel represents BumaStemra in Taskforce GO!, a sector-wide initiative aimed at fostering social safety, inclusion, and diversity through awareness and education. Before joining BumaStemra, Annabel worked as a filmmaker and freelancer, collaborating with organizations in both the social sector and the entertainment industry. Since 2009, she has also been active as a social entrepreneur, with a strong focus on youth, girls’, and women’s rights.
