Ana Maria Suso (CO)

Ana Maria Suso is an architect and artist whose passion lies at the intersection of spatial design and textile storytelling. Academically trained as an architect (she received her MSc Diploma in Architecture from TU Delft) and empirically self-taught as a crochet artist, she has been working on her ‘Cocoon’ series for the past two years. In this series of crochet installations, she explores themes of comfort/discomfort, rigidness/softness, and public/private, through the lens of architecture, craftsmanship, and female spatial practices.
