Alex Wah Wah (DK)

Alex Wah Wah is a strictly vinyl DJ based in Copenhagen and a dedicated digger who loves to share his extensive collection of soulful and tropical tunes. His love for collecting and sharing music has recently taken him to Brazil and Puerto Rico to uncover hidden gems within music traditions of Samba, MPB and Salsa.


Alex is a former radio host at Radio Jazz and has for the past year hosted Sweet Soul Sundays at the well-known Bird. Today, he is the main curator and selector at Victory and frequently guests bars and clubs in London and other international destinations, most recently La Disquera (PR). While Alex blends a great variety of genres in his sets you can always expect to hear music that touches your soul, deeply rooted in the obscure corners of organic grooves.
