Alex Verdacchi (ID)

A man, who takes his love for Techno very seriously, is step by step and gradually becoming a leading figure amongst the younger generation of DJs on the island of Bali. Though Alex could never have dreamed what lay ahead of him when starting his DJ career at the tender age of 13, where he began learning how to DJ by himself using the equipment of LIQUID club in Bali at the time and playing only for the cleaners and bartenders during early opening hours before getting noticed 2 years later by Bali legend Joni Satrio who took him under his wing and taught him how to be a real DJ. For the last couple of years Alex has been honing his music selection skills in the clubs and schools of London, Amsterdam and Rotterdam in Europe. Completing a music production course over the course of 2 years and taking personal lessons from the likes of Carl Cox and Fat boy Slim he learned what its like to be a DJ on a international level and not just locally on his home island of Bali. He has played alongside a host of International Dj's such as Gareth Emery, Green Velvet and Mark Knight. In Bali he has headlined at Dejavu, Junkyard, Maria Magdalena, The Bar,Jenja , Pyramid and 66. His musical style can be distinguished by powerful tracks filled with groove. He does specialize however in Techno, Tech house and Deep House here and there juggling the three for variation throughout his sets. His biggest influences are: Joseph Capriati, Dense & Pika, Speedy J, Loco Dice and the whole European techno scene in which he has honed his skills for the last 4 years. Behind the decks Alex never fails to deliver, his exceptional technical skills, variety of music and eye for the crowd keep him as one of Bali's most renowned Dj's.
