First Lady... is more than just name.
First Lady (Khris Raye) is a pioneer DJ, radio/ television personality and a Billboard award winning radio Music and Program Di
rector. As one of the very first house music female dj's, who started mixing in the fall of 1980, First Lady, (then known as Khrissie “Hott Mixx”), has helped lay the foundation for ladies that control the house music dance floors today. In 1983 she was one of four ladies that made up America’s FIRST All-Female Mix Team called “The Fantastic Four”, as well as the FIRST Female DJ on Chicago radio in 1986.

In 1985 she became one of the first female vocalists to record a house music song on the DJ International Record Label, (MKll Used By A DJ), (Mario Diaz Let’s Do It) and has recorded for AKA Records.
With over 35 years of experience in the music industry, First Lady has worked with some of the biggest names in the business, Farley JackMaster Funk, Steve Silk Hurley, Lil Louis, Hugo H, Tyree, K'Alexi, Boo Williams, Joe Smooth, Mario Diaz, Gary Wallace, Lady D (Super Jane), DJ Scribble, The Original Spinderella, GrandMaster Flash, Fatman Scoop, Isaac Hayes, Ashford & Simpson and the list goes on.

First Lady and her husband DJ pioneer Hugo H., (Jamie Foxx/Foxxhole Sirius XM 96/Lumberjacks In Hell) have been together over 20 years and have 3 beautiful daughters, Khumare 24, Ciah 22 and Kristyn 20.
