Milan Meyberg has been an active member of the Dutch music industry for over fifteen years, pushing boundaries in the cities of Groningen and Amsterdam. The pursuit of electronic music has brought him international DJ residencies , which in turn lead to event management positions at leading Dutch nightclubs and festivals such as Studio 80, Paradigm and DGTL Festival.
Over the years, Milan developed a strong interest in sustainability and extensively promoted the development of new sustainable event strategies. This interest was strongly cultivated during his time working on Club Paradigm’s “Part of the Shift” campaign, setting out to transform the former “Groningen Suikerunie Terrein” into the first self-sufficient festival site of the Netherlands.
To develop groundbreaking sustainability concepts is no easy task, but it’s a challenge Milan embraces fully. In 2015 and 2016 he won multiple awards for his sustainability projects (Symbioculture Complex, NATR-flowerseed poncho, Eco Coin) which he is now further developing at DGTL Festival. At DGTL he manages the “Revolution” program where he is pioneering circular energy, food, and resource management systems in order to develop practical applications for what he has dubbed “regenerative event management”.
