Words of Nio (US)

Already an established indie, rock & new wave instrumentalist from Atlanta, Words of Nio moved to Ibiza in 2015, while continuing to work on his craft, and became a resident at Sankeys. He played parties such as Sankey’s Saturdays and Unusual Suspects on Thursdays + other venues around the island like Blue Marlin and Veto Club. In 2017, his first EP 'Silhouette' was released on Barcelona’s label WOOD with rave reviews and charted on the Top 20 deep house, electronica and techno Beatport charts. In 2018 he released 'Bardo', a deeper, darker EP on the Italian label DNC Limited, also with great results. This would become a major stepping stone for Words Of Nio, doing a lot of remix work and seeing big support from fans, fellow DJs and producers in the melodic techno scene. His remix of Sarcasmo’s 'Breath', released on the Indian label Qilla Records, would open a whole new market, introducing his sound to a large Asian audience who have now become true followers. Currently in the studio, Yul is experimenting with new sounds in order to push his own boundaries and to show evolution as an artist. Words of Nio has received support from artists such as Rampue, BLANCAh, Scuba, UNER, Rauschhaus, Paulo Foltz, and many more. In a short period of time, he has established himself as an artist to watch out for.
