Willem van Soomeren (NL)

Since 2022, Willem has been Media & Events Account Manager at Sena, the collective management organization in the Netherlands representing almost 50,000 performers and record companies.

After studying Media & Entertainment Management at the University of Applied Sciences in Haarlem, Willem mainly focussed on electronic dance music - a huge passion in his life. During his career, he has worked with several event organizers, record companies, performersand music producers.

A big part of his daily work at Sena is licensing Dutch event organizers for the commercial use of music. He is driven by ensuring a fair payment for music creators when their music is used in public.
