Ulises (DE)

Ulises is a multi-instrumentalist, DJ, and producer originally from Argentina and currently based in Berlin. After performing in a number of bands as
an instrumentalist, Ulises then developed a passion for incorporating recordings of native South American instruments into electronic soundscapes alongside synthesizers, drum machines, samplers, and an arsenal of digital tools. Ulises’ unique sound is an amalgamation of myriad cultural influences, his own emotional introspections, and always a dash of the unexpected.
In his DJ & Live sets there can be found a whole palette of moods. Music to induce calm, to evoke a space to reflect, or that urges to an ecstatic and
spellbinding dance. From deep basslines, abstract synth atmospheres to ancient textured drums and percussions, all pulse-driven by rhythms from around the world, in an uprising emotional tension.

Since his arrival to Berlin, he has been part of Acid Pauli ́s ‘Acidcase’, with whom he toured extensively the continent. His live set gained recognition
amongthe scene, which led to now hold residencies in Scorpios Mykonos and Beachouse Ibiza, and regular appearances in festivals like Fusion, Garbicz or
Nation of Gondwana. You find him DJ ́ing and playing his live set in highly acclaimed underground clubs of Berlin like Sisyphos or Katerblau, at Riviera
Maya Tulums ́ Nômade, Habitas, Treehouse or in exclusive venues and parties like London‘s Annabels and Zero in New York City.

Beside his releases on Scorpios Music Ulises has edited in renown international imprints such as Sol Selectas (US), MoBlack Records (IT), Kiosk Katerblau(DE), Kamai Music (DE), Heimlich (AU), LOKD (CH) just to name a few.
