Portente (NL)

Portente (Tim Zwerver) is an Amsterdam based DJ/producer. Growing up surrounded by the nightlife of Amsterdam it didn’t take long for him to discover Studio80 and his passion for vinyl. After buying a pair of 2nd hand turntables and a bunch of records, at a time where vinyl was not too common anymore, he found himself playing at house-parties and raves. He had his first club and festival gig at Ruigoord, and from there on he got introduced to various dj booths around town and beyond.

As a DJ he seeks for balance between a constant groove and a surprising impulse. This makes it hard to tie his sets down to one genre, it’s rather an evolving experience of sound. He’s also known for long sets and he won’t stop playing until someone pulls the plug.
