The Weather Girls (US)

The iconic duo The Weather Girls will return's at Amsterdam Dance Event 2022. They will perform for the second time at House My Disco, an event presented by Terri B! and Carrillo Music.

The Weather Girls are American Musical Heroes of longevity that continues to build a loyal following that is international and growing!
After years of singing with Sylvester and developing a stand out blend of harmonies and chart topping songs as " Two Tons O' Fun " 1985 they recorded "IT´S RAINING MEN"! This song became their biggest hit to date, peaking at number one on the Dance chart and number forty-six on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. This song prompted the name change to, "THE WEATHER GIRLS". 1991 saw the return of "THE WEATHER GIRLS", with Izora Arstead Rhodes and her daughter Dynelle Rhodes. Moving to Germany their first album together Double Tons of Fun was released in 1993. The album's lead single, "Can You Feel It" peaked at number two Billboard's Dance chart. The song also peaked at number 75 on Germany's music chart. Izora Armstead Rhodes died due to heart failure. Dynelle Rhodes now heads the name and the group. THE WEATHER GIRLS new single "STAND UP" 2020 is a call to join the movement to overcome whatever your situation and past hurts to stand up to your best life now. Dynelle Rhodes wrote this timeless classic with David A. Tobin and the Legendary Rob Hardt , Terri Green & Dorrey Lyles A full project is in the works that marks a new direction steeped in tradition for this Iconic force of nature at the same time a modern approach to the soul and dance music of today.
