The Him (NL)

After several years of making and playing music for headlining names separately, the two joined forces in 2013 for a Tiesto Remix Contest on Beatport. Following a 2nd place win from over 3,500 submissions, the guys decided then and there to make The Him a full-time project. Drawing on inspiration from artists like The Magician, Duke Dumont, Gorgon City, M83, Empire of the Sun, and The Chemical Brothers. The Him's sound is a crossover between indie, deep house, nu disco and pop -- full of fresh, experimental sounds bound to make you move and wanting more. They have dropped official remixes for the likes of Grammy-nominated producer/DJ Adrian Lux, US-based band The Pass, British duo Solomon Grey, and platinum-selling Dutch musician Dotan; the latter reaching a coveted number 2 position on SLAM!FM's Top 40 charts, being featured on Belgian radio stations (Top Radio and Radio FG), as well as included in sets by Grammy-nominated producer/DJ Paul Oakenfold, Bakermat and Bob Sinclar.
