SMANDEM is a young, four-piece band that makes a fresh variation of jazz with influences from R&B, soul, and hip-hop. During their energetic, uptempo live shows, their setlist consists of both their own compositions and modernized versions of existing jazz pieces. The band is formed by Rafael Sinay (guitar), Aäron Bouwman (bass guitar), David Nino van der Grinten (keys), and Kick Woudstra (percussionist).
