Sacci (SR)

Zach Wongsodikromo, also known as Sacci, was born in Suriname and raised on the tropical island of Curaçao, surrounded by the vibrant and diverse sounds of the Caribbean.
Even though Sacci does not come from a musical family, he was fascinated by music and spent countless hours listening to different genres, trying to understand the unique beats and rhythms of each.
As he got older, Zach’s passion for music only grew stronger. At first, he began beatboxing, and later on he discovered VirtualDJ. He spent endless hours experimenting with different genres and styles, practicing in his room.
By his early teens, Sacci was DJing in local clubs and bars such as Wet’N Wild, Club Cartouch, and Bermuda. Shortly after, Sacci was getting booked by his country of birth, Suriname, playing in Euphoria, Club Touche, Shakers, and neighbouring islands Aruba and Bonaire.
At the age of 17, Sacci moved to the Netherlands to finish his studies. It didn’t take long before Sacci got his first gig in Club 7, The Hague. After that, he had weekly bookings in The Hague, Rotterdam, and Amsterdam. Balancing school and performances was not easy, but he kept pushing to finish his studies and focus on DJing and producing.
At 21, Sacci began producing his own music. By collaborating with artists from the Netherlands and Curaçao, Sacci gained the confidence to start releasing music and signed a publishing deal shortly after.
In 2022, Sacci began SLS Agency. His agency facilitates hotels, bars, and clubs with a fitting DJ. Because Sacci has a great network of upcoming and established DJs, he is able to give everyone an opportunity to showcase their skills.
“When I started DJ’ing, it was very difficult to get a chance to perform in clubs and bars, that’s why I want to give upcoming talents a platform and the chance to master their skill,” — as Sacci quoted.
In summary, with his years of experience, Sacci hopes to help and guide the next generation of DJs and producers. Sacci’s journey is far from finished and is now dedicated to releasing his own music.
