Paul Conrad (DE)

Artist

A sonic unfolding of the self, Paul Conrad's music is a journey into the heart of creative expression – crafted for the moments you need to breathe. Born in Germany and raised on trumpet solos and late-night techno, Paul creates melodic house and techno that tells a story never monotone: even at sunrise, there is darkness; even inside the void, there is light. In this play of elements and emotions, ecstasy dances with melancholy while the earthy chases the ethereal.

The seed of Paul Conrad's musical journey lies in an instrumental background of trumpet, orchestra, and jazz. From playing trumpet in jazz bands to discovering the captivating analog warmth of artists such as Stephan Bodzin and Einmusik, as well as the hypnotic grooves of Boris Brejcha, Paul was inspired to begin his own explorations into electronic music. What started as an escape has evolved into something deeper – a mission to craft soundscapes where people can pause the chaos and just feel.

Paul blends deep melodic basslines with soaring, emotional textures, transforming dance floors into spaces for release, connection, and healing. Each track is built to create moments where the outside world fades away and people can be present with the music. His sound is shaped by analog warmth and an obsession with sonic detail, resulting in melodic house and techno that's as moving as it is danceable.

The emerging German artist's passion for his craft needs no mask or alter ego. What you hear is the alchemical gold of a soul that strives for something deeper – music that invites listeners to slow down and get lost. Since his first release, Paul has appeared on respected labels including Einmusika, Aviary Recordings, Vanta Recordings, and Dark City Music, with his music earning support from acclaimed artists such as Einmusik, Pretty Pink, Nora En Pure, and Korolova. He made his international DJ debut in 2025.

Whether in the studio crafting intricate productions or behind the decks as a live act, Paul Conrad transforms spaces into sanctuaries of sound. Because sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is press pause – and in those moments of stillness, find the rhythm that moves your soul.
