Nubian (NL)

Already involved in music at primary school - buying his first disco 12s on a field-trip to London - the tone was set at an early age. Many years later Nubian kicked off his career DJing at the renowned Spiral Tribe techno parties. In 1991 he discovered the mighty breakbeat, which brought him to Jungle and as a natural progression to Drum and Bass. In 1994 he started the distribution company Triple Vision from his home, with partner in crime Dreazz, essentially kickstarting the Drum & Bass movement in The Netherlands. Nubian is also the founder and former owner of the legendary Amsterdam based record store Killa Cutz. Decades later Nubian is still going strong in the one thing that controls his life, music.
