Noise Junkie (NL)

Professional loudmouth. Punk energy in binary and basslines.

Born in London, based in Amsterdam, Noise Junkie fuses the raw spirit of punk with the machine-driven pulse of electro. Think Lloyd Stellar and Anthony Rother colliding with The Prodigy and Orbital, then intermixed with breakbeat and neurofunk basslines. The result: a cyberpunk tantrum, a rave in a scrapyard.

Emerging as in early 2025 after a hearing injury rewired his connection to sound, producer Nikesh Katwa reinvented himself through Noise Junkie. What began as recovery became rebellion—music as catharsis, emotion rendered in distortion. Having previously explored dub techno and ambient realms as Dub.Dedko, he returned to his roots in breakbeat and rave culture, spiking it to a menacing 140 BPM and injecting it with punk venom.

Armed with a Digitakt II, Blofeld and a rack of fuzz-drenched pedals, Noise Junkie shags hardware synthesis into distorted, dirty chaos giving you proper skank-face.

Basslines bite, textures scream, and rhythms stagger with intent. It’s Punk, but coded. Electro, but feral. Dance music for the defiant.

Mentored by Andy Odysee (Odysee Recordings) and influenced by the dystopian imagination of Gibson, Dick, and Clarke, Noise Junkie’s sound is both cerebral and savage. Each set is a digital rampage, a place where emotion meets circuitry and rebellion becomes rhythm.
