Neural Frames started in early 2023 when physicist and long-time musician Nicolai Klemke decided to tackle a problem every musician knows too well: creating compelling visuals for your music without breaking the bank or spending months in post-production.
The platform works as what they call "a synthesizer for the visual world" - essentially an AI-powered tool that generates audio-reactive music videos that move and flow with the music. Think of it as giving musicians a new instrument, but instead of making sounds, it makes visuals that dance to whatever track you feed it.

What's particularly cool about Neural Frames is that it's completely bootstrapped. No venture capital, no big corporate backing - just a product that musicians actually wanted to use. That approach has clearly resonated: they've hit $1M in annual revenue in early 2025 and users have already exported over two million videos through the platform.

For musicians who've always wanted striking visuals but found traditional video production either too expensive or too time-consuming, Neural Frames offers a refreshing alternative. It's not trying to replace music video directors or VFX artists - it's simply giving musicians another creative tool to play with, one that happens to speak fluent "visual" as naturally as they speak music.
