Miguel Sánchez (ES)

Born and raised in Málaga, Spain, Miguel Sánchez is a senior booking agent and partner at Meanwhile Agency. Over the past 14 years, Miguel has worked in various roles across the music industry. After deciding to pursue a career in electronic music by moving to Ibiza, back in 2009, he landed his first job as stage manager and club booker assistant through Ushuaia / Hï founder Yann Pissenem. Shortly after - and through multiple encounters in the island's club scene - he got in touch with Steve Lawler, the head honcho of VIVa Music. It embarked the beginning of a two year journey between 2012 to 2014 as brand manager.

In those two years in which he worked for the renowned music label, Miguel also kickstarted his career as an independent agent, mainly working on the bookings of Ukrainian artist Nastia. A collaboration that lasted for over 10 years up until 2022. Next to that, Miguel has also been closely involved with the Ukrainian club and festivals Closer, Strichka and Brave Factory Festival.

Around early 2019, Miguel also joined forces with IMS festival co-founder Ben Turner and Richie Hawtin, functioning as his sub-agent in Spain.

By the end of that year, Miguel met Meanwhile’s partners and decided to join the Amsterdam-based agency, merging his complete roster. These days, Miguel manages artists such as Daria Kolosova, Marlon Hoffstadt, Francesco Del Garda, Etapp Kyle and Priku.
